Greetings and welcome to the web site for Nazareth Ministries. We are delighted that you have chosen to visit our web site. It is our hope that you will join us in our efforts to establish a place of retreat for the Living God's Christian Clergy around the world. It is our desire to reduce the negative statistics and give our Leaders an opportunity to deal with their own personal issues like the rest of us.

Our mission is to assist God's called, licensed, and ordained clergy in retreating to a quiet place for refreshing and renewal. With the understanding that we "ALL" (including clergy) grow weary, and knowing that God's draws pleasure in renewing their strength too. " Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:30-31 We are here to assist in the renewal process by offering a place to meet God without the distractions of everyday life or to simply get away from the demands of ministry and other life stresses.

This is a great place in which to retreat, re-establish a new focus on life, take a spiritual vacation, or refresh your closeness to God. The presence of God can be felt the moment you drive onto Nekadesh Farm. This part of St Mary's County, in Colton's Point, Maryland, is rich in history too. The natural beauty of the landscape and the Potomac River help make this one of the best places in the world to retreat and find the long sought out escape that we all occasionally need from everyday pressures and demands of life.

Nazareth Ministries was founded in August of 2003. We already have plans to expand in order to host as many as five to six Clergy at a time. Currently we have two large rooms that allow for a private retreat, quietness and alone time with God. We are excited to offer and embrace this opportunity to minister to God's Leaders.
